Dhyāna Dhāraṇā · Dhāraṇā 7
सर्वं जगत्स्वदेहं वा स्वानन्दभरितं स्मरेत् । युगपत्स्वामृतेनैव परानन्दमयो भवेत् ॥
sarvaṃ jagat svadehaṃ vā svānandabharitaṃ smaret | yugapat svāmṛtenaiva parānandamayo bhavet ||
Remember all the world or your own body as filled with your own bliss. Simultaneously, through your own nectar, you become of the nature of supreme bliss.
Seventh dhāraṇā. The first pure concentration technique. The instruction is direct: smaret — remember, contemplate, visualize. All the universe (sarvaṃ jagat) or your own body (svadeham) saturated with your own bliss (svānandabharitam).
This is not self-deception or positive thinking. Svānanda — the bliss that is yours, inherent to consciousness, not fabricated by circumstances. The text assumes this bliss already exists. It only needs to be recognized, remembered, unveiled.
Yugapat — simultaneously. Not first you think and then you feel. In the very act of contemplating, your own nectar (svāmṛtena) floods everything. Parānandamayo bhavet — you become of the nature of supreme bliss. You do not attain something distant. You discover what you already are.
