Śūnya Dhāraṇā · Dhāraṇā 98
सर्वं जगत्स्वदेहं वा स्वानन्दभरितं स्मरेत् । युगपत्स्वामृतेनैव परानन्दमयो भवेत् ॥
sarvaṃ jagat svadehaṃ vā svānandabharitaṃ smaret | yugapat svāmṛtenaiva parānandamayo bhavet ||
Remember the whole universe or the own body as filled with your own beatitude. Simultaneously, by your own immortal nectar, one becomes made of supreme beatitude.
Ninety-eighth technique. The universe as your blissful body. Sarvaṃ jagat svadehaṃ vā — the whole universe or your own body. Svānandabharitam smaret — remember it filled with your own beatitude. Not happiness that comes from outside. Your own ānanda, inherent, original.
Yugapat — simultaneously. Not first the body and then the universe. Both at once. In a single act of recognition. My body is bliss. The universe is bliss. They are the same bliss.
Svāmṛtenaiva parānandamayo bhavet — by your own immortal nectar, one becomes made of supreme beatitude. Amṛta — the nectar that does not die. You do not seek it outside. You secrete it yourself. Beatitude is not an achievement. It is your substance. Discovering this is not attaining something new. It is remembering what you always were.
