Only One, without duality, is Brahman. There is nothing else whatsoever. Aṣṭāvakra closes the central teaching with the most uncompromising declaration: there is no second, no “other,” and therefore no room for doubt. Desire and fear are born from the illusion of division; where only One is, both vanish. This is the essence of advaita — not a metaphysical opinion but the final recognition that multiplicity is an appearance within the single Brahman.
