Vibhūti Yoga · Verse 18

विस्तरेणात्मनो योगं विभूतिं च जनार्दन | भूयः कथय तृप्तिर्हि शृण्वतो नास्ति मेऽमृतम्

vistareṇātmano yogaṃ vibhūtiṃ ca janārdana | bhūyaḥ kathaya tṛptir hi śṛṇvato nāsti me 'mṛtam

Narrate extensively Your own yoga and opulences, oh Janārdana. Speak again, for there is no satiety for me in hearing this nectar.

Arjuna expresses his insatiable spiritual appetite. Vistareṇa — extensively, in detail — not summarized. Janārdana — who destroys the birth of devotees — another name of Kṛṣṇa.

Bhūyaḥ kathaya — speak again — repetition in spirituality is delightful, not tedious. Tṛptiḥ na asti — there is no satiety — unlike material pleasures that cloy.

Amṛtam — immortal nectar — the transcendental sound of the Lord’s glory nourishes the soul eternally.
