Vibhūti Yoga · Verse 41

यद्यद्विभूतिमत्सत्त्वं श्रीमदूर्जितमेव वा | तत्तदेवावगच्छ त्वं मम तेजोऽंशसम्भवम्

yad yad vibhūtimat sattvaṃ śrīmad ūrjitam eva vā | tat tad evāvagaccha tvaṃ mama tejo-'ṃśa-sambhavam

Whatever is opulent, beautiful or powerful, know that it arises from a portion of My splendor.

The rule for recognizing vibhūtis not mentioned. Vibhūtimat — possessor of opulence. Śrīmat — beautiful, auspicious. Ūrjitam — powerful, glorious.

Mama tejaḥ-aṃśa-sambhavam — born of a portion (aṃśa) of My splendor (tejaḥ). It is not the complete Lord, but a spark, a ray of His glory.

This is the practice of Vibhūti Yoga: seeing beauty, wealth or power in the world as reminders of the Lord.
