The double repetition emphasizes: knowledge does not separate us from humanity but allows us to dwell in it fully. “Knowing this” (imaṃ viditvā) —the ākāśa antarhṛdaya, the ultimate Truth— does not make us ascend to distant heavens but transforms our life among manuṣya (humans). In our yoga practice, this is crucial: liberation is not escape but presence. The sage does not abandon the world; he dwells in it from understanding of its true nature. To know and to dwell —viditvā vasan— are simultaneous.
