After exploring how desire and action generate the apparent world, Janaka returns to the foundational affirmation with renewed force: I am Brahman, formless, of the nature of existence, consciousness, and bliss. In chapter 14 the question is no longer “Who am I?” but “What can disturb me if I am Brahman?” The declaration becomes a shield: no form can touch what is formless, and no change can alter the unchanging ground of awareness.
