Chapter 16 · Verse 6
विरक्तो विषयद्वेष्टा रागी विषयलोलुपः
virakto viṣayadveṣṭā rāgī viṣayalolupaḥ | grahamokṣavihīnastu na virakto na rāga
The one who hates sense objects (viṣayadveṣṭā) and the one who craves them (viṣayalolupaḥ) are both trapped in duality. One who is free of both grasping (graha) and release (mokṣa) is neither detached nor attached — he has transcended the very framework in which these categories have meaning.
