The vision that all is Brahman — formless and sat-cid-ānanda — is held firm against every possible objection in chapter 18. Logic operates with categories, but Brahman transcends every category. One cannot argue for or against what is prior to argument itself. The sage therefore meets debate with equanimity: all is Brahman, including the debate. This is not a refusal of reason but the recognition of its limits.
