Chapter 6 · Verse 7
न ते संसारमोक्षौ न मे देहो न मे मनः
na te saṃsāra-mokṣau na me deho na me manaḥ
There is no saṃsāra or mokṣa, no body or mind, for you. All these are merely movements within the mind. You are supreme Consciousness, ever free, ever one. In chapter 6 Janaka is examining the nature of existence itself, and this verse stresses that existence and non-existence cannot bind the Ātman. The mind labels experience as bondage or liberation, but Consciousness precedes every label and remains untouched by every classification.
