Chapter 6 · Verse 8

आत्मा निराकार एव नित्यमुक्तोऽसि सर्वदा

ātmā nirākāra eva nitya-mukto'si sarvadā

The Ātman is always formless (nirākāra) and always liberated (nitya-mukta). Because it has no shape, boundary, or possession, there is nothing to accept or reject. Simply abiding as this awareness is itself the freedom and peace that cannot be improved or diminished. In chapter 6 this is offered as the final relaxation of all effort.
