Quickly he becomes virtuous and attains lasting peace. O son of Kuntī, I solemnly declare that My devotee is never destroyed.

Pratijānīhi — I solemnly declare — is the Lord’s oath. Na me bhaktaḥ praṇaśyati — My devotee is never destroyed — the supreme promise of protection.

The devotee becomes dharmātma — virtuous soul — kṣipram — quickly — because divine connection automatically transforms. Śāśvat-śāntiṃ — permanent peace — is the natural fruit of this connection.

This śānti — peace — is lasting because it no longer depends on external circumstances, but on the established relationship with the Lord.
