Dhyāna Dhāraṇā · Dhāraṇā 14

निजदेहे सर्वदिक्कं युगपद्भावयेद्वियत् । निर्विकल्पमनास्तस्य वियत्सर्वं प्रवर्तते ॥

nijadehe sarvadikkaṃ yugapad bhāvayed viyat | nirviikalpamanās tasya viyat sarvaṃ pravartate ||

In one's own body, simultaneously in all directions, contemplate space. For one whose mind is without constructs, everything unfolds as space.

Fourteenth technique. Contemplate your own body as space in all directions simultaneously. Nijadehe — in your own body. Sarvadikkam — in all directions. Yugapat — at the same time. Viyat — space, sky, void.

Do not visualize the body as solid but as space. The bones, the flesh, the organs — all made of the same substance as outer space. There is no real boundary between the space inside the body and the space outside.

Nirvikalpamanāḥ — with a mind free of constructs. When the mind stops fabricating the illusion of bodily solidity, viyat sarvaṃ pravartate — everything unfolds as pure space. The body ceases to be prison and becomes sky.
