Śvetāśvatara Upaniṣad · 3..19
निरञ्जनः परिलीनो देहाद्बहिर्देहिनो ह्येष निरञ्जनो निराकारो निराकाङ्क्षः सोऽहमस्मि निर्विकल्पो निर्विकारो निर्विचारः सदाशिवः
nirañjanaḥ parilīno dehādbahirdehino hyeṣa nirañjanao nirākāro nirākāṅkṣaḥ so'hamasmi nirvikalpo nirvikāro nirvicāraḥ sadāśivaḥ
Stainless, beyond the body, interior to the inhabitant of the body, without form, without desires —I am He, free from thoughts, without modifications, without deliberation, the Ever-Auspicious.
The culminating affirmation: so’ham asmi —“I am He.” I am not the body, not the mind, not the ego that says “I” —I am the nirañjana (stainless), nirākāra (formless), nirākāṅkṣa (desireless). This is not arrogance but recognition: what I sought outside I am myself. In our yoga practice, Sādāśiva (the ever-auspicious) is our true name. The nirvikalpa state (free from conceptualization) is not emptiness but absolute fullness, Ātman as causeless purity.
