Deha Dhāraṇā · Dhāraṇā 39

शक्तिसंगमसंक्षुब्धशक्त्यावेशावसानिकम् । यत्सुखं ब्रह्मतत्त्वस्य तत्सुखं स्वाक्यमुच्यते ॥

śaktisaṅgamasaṅkṣubdha-śaktyāveśāvasānikam | yat sukhaṃ brahmatattvasya tat sukhaṃ svākyam ucyate ||

The bliss that arises at the end of agitation produced by union with śakti — that bliss of Brahman reality is said to be one's own.

Thirty-ninth dhāraṇā. First body technique. Bhairava speaks directly of sexual pleasure — śaktisaṅgama — union with śakti, with partner. The agitation (saṅkṣubdha) it produces. And the final moment (avasānikam) where that agitation ceases.

Yat sukhaṃ brahmatattvasya — that bliss is the bliss of Brahman, of absolute reality. Not an analogy. Direct identity. The bliss of orgasm and the bliss of liberation are the same bliss. The difference lies in recognition: do you attribute it to the other’s body or recognize it as your own nature?

Svākyam ucyate — it is said to be one’s own. It does not come from the other. It does not come from the body. It is inherent to consciousness. Sexual pleasure simply unveils it temporarily, like lightning illuminates the landscape that was always there. The technique is to recognize this in the very moment.
