Dhyāna Dhāraṇā · Dhāraṇā 108
सर्वज्ञः सर्वकर्ता च व्यापकः परमेश्वरः । स एवाहं शैवधर्मा इति दार्ढ्याच्छिवो भवेत् ॥
sarvajñaḥ sarvakartā ca vyāpakaḥ parameśvaraḥ | sa evāhaṃ śaivadharmā iti dārḍhyāc chivo bhavet ||
Omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, Supreme Lord — that am I, with the qualities of Śiva. By this firmness, one becomes Śiva.
Hundred-eighth technique. The supreme affirmation. Sarvajñaḥ sarvakartā ca vyāpakaḥ parameśvaraḥ — omniscient, maker of all, omnipresent, Supreme Lord. The attributes of the divine enumerated without ambiguity.
Sa evāham — that am I. Three words that summarize all tantra. Not “I am part of that.” Not “I aspire to that.” Sa eva aham — that, exactly, am I. Śaivadharmā — with the nature of Śiva, with the qualities of Śiva.
Dārḍhyāt śivo bhavet — by the firmness of this conviction, one becomes Śiva. This is not self-deception. It is recognition. Firmness (dārḍhya) is not mental obstinacy. It is the unbreakable stability of one who has seen the truth and does not release it. You do not become what you were not. You recognize what you always were. And by recognizing it with absolute firmness, the illusion of separation collapses.
