All is Brahman, formless, of the nature of existence-consciousness-bliss. Seeing this, the sage is free from all fear and free from all desire. In Chapter 12 Janaka articulates this cosmic vision from his realization. It is not philosophical speculation but experiential certainty: everything, including what is feared and what is desired, is Brahman. Fear requires a threatening other; desire requires an desirable other. Where all is one, both dissolve.
