The Ātman is ever formless and ever liberated. There is nothing to accept and nothing to reject. Be aware of this, and you are ever free, ever at peace. Chapter 13 grounds the description of the happy sage in the nature of the Self. Happiness is not an experience to be pursued but the recognition that the Self is already nitya-mukta, ever free.
