Chapter 2 · Verse 18

न मे संसारमोक्षौ न मे शास्त्रं न मे गुरुः

na me saṃsāra-mokṣau na me śāstraṃ na me guruḥ

The disciple now dissolves even the most sacred supports of the spiritual path: saṃsāra, mokṣa, śāstra, and guru. These are not denied out of disrespect, but because they belong to the domain of the one who mistakes himself for a body-mind. For the ātman, there is no journey from bondage to freedom, no text to study, and no external teacher to instruct. The statement is radical yet precise: instruments of liberation are meaningful only where ignorance seems real, and once ignorance is seen through, the instruments are seen as appearances within consciousness. What remains is actionless, formless awareness.
