Chapter 4 · Verse 8
आत्मा निराकार एव नित्यमुक्तोऽसि सर्वदा
ātmā nirākāra eva nitya-mukto'si sarvadā
Chapter 4 closes with a concise restatement: the Ātman is formless (nirākāra), always liberated (nitya-mukta). There is nothing to accept or reject. Be conscious of this and you will be forever free, forever at peace. The chapter has traced Janaka’s journey from initial understanding to stable realization — each verse a deeper settling into the truth that was announced in chapter 1.
