In chapter 5, Janaka has moved beyond even the longing for liberation. The declaration that only one non-dual Brahman truly exists now points to something subtler: if there is only Brahman, then who was ever bound and who could ever be freed? Neither saṃsāra nor mokṣa has independent reality. Freedom is not a future state to be reached but the truth that is recognized once the illusion of separation collapses.
