Chapter 6 · Verse 4

आत्मैवेदं जगत् सर्वं ज्ञातं यस्य महात्मनः

ātmaivedaṃ jagat sarvaṃ jñātaṃ yasya mahātmanaḥ

The entire universe is nothing but the Ātman for the one great being who knows this. In chapter 6 Janaka is contemplating existence itself, and the reappearance of this verse confirms that non-dual vision has become stable rather than a passing glimpse. The world as Ātman is no longer an idea to be understood but the very ground on which one stands and moves.
