Aṣṭāvakra returns to the formula of negation: the body, intellect, and mind are not the Self and do not belong to it. Abandoning every claim, one rests as supreme Consciousness. Chapter 6 closes with this consolidated recognition. Four chapters after its first statement, the denial of body and mind no longer needs to be upheld by effort; it has become the invisible ground on which everything rests. The structure of illusion has collapsed, and what remains is Consciousness, ever free.
