Chapter 7 · Verse 3

न तस्य कश्चिद्धर्मोऽस्ति नाधर्मो नापि मोक्षणम्

na tasya kaścid dharmo'sti nādharmo nāpi mokṣaṇam

For the realized one there is neither virtue nor vice, neither bondage nor liberation, neither heaven nor any other state. No condition anywhere can attach to him, because he is the Ātman. Chapter 7 applies this to the question of destiny: merit and demerit belong to the story of a separate person, not to the Self that was never born into the narrative.
