Here there is no loss of effort, nor does obstacle result. Even a little of this dharma liberates from great fear

The security of yoga: abhikrama-nāśaḥ (loss of initial effort) na asti (does not exist). Unlike material results, spiritual effort is never lost. Pratyavāyaḥ (backlash, collateral harm) na vidyate (does not exist).

Svalpam api (even a little) of asya dharmaḥ (this dharma, yoga of action without attachment) trāyate (protects, liberates) mahataḥ bhayāt (from great fear — of saṃsāra, of death, of ignorance).

Yoga is cumulative: each correct act builds future capacity. There is no possible regression.
