Chapter 5 · Verse 6

सर्वं ब्रह्ममयं ज्ञात्वा निर्द्वन्द्वो निर्भयो भव

sarvaṃ brahma-mayaṃ jñātvā nirdvandvo nirbhayo bhava

The injunction: knowing all is Brahman, be free from the pairs of opposites (dvandva) and without fear. In chapter 5, the freedom from dualities includes the duality of liberation-bondage itself. To be free of dualities means being free even from the notion of “being free of dualities.” Fullness (pūrṇa) is not a state opposed to emptiness — it is what remains when the mind stops dividing.
