असक्तबुद्धिः सर्वत्र जितात्मा विगतस्पृहः | नैष्कर्म्यसिद्धिं परमां सन्न्यासेनाधिगच्छति
asakta-buddhiḥ sarvatra jitātmā vigata-spṛhaḥ | naiṣkarmya-siddhiṃ paramāṃ sannyāsenādhigacchati
Of non-attached intelligence everywhere, with Self conquered, free from desire — one attains the perfection of non-action, the supreme, through renunciation.
The sannyāsa that leads to naiṣkarmya-siddhi. Asakta-buddhiḥ sarvatra — non-attached intelligence everywhere, at all times.
Jitātmā — with Self conquered (jita = controlled). Vigata-spṛhaḥ — free from desires (spṛhā). Naiṣkarmya-siddhim paramām — the supreme perfection of non-action (liberation from karma).
