Ātma-Saṃyama Yoga · Verse 47
योगिनामपि सर्वेषां मद्गतेनान्तरात्मना | श्रद्धावान्भजते यो मां स मे युक्ततमो मतः
yogināṃ api sarveṣāṃ mat-gatenāntar-ātmanā | śraddhāvān bhajate yo māṃ sa me yuktatamo mataḥ
Of all yogis, one whose inner being is absorbed in Me, who worships Me with faith — is considered by Me as the most united in yoga.
Climax of the chapter: the yuktatama (most united, superlative) is not one who has superior technique, but one who has mat-gata-antar-ātman — whose inner being is “gone to Me” (absorbed in Kṛṣṇa).
Śraddhāvān bhajate — with faith, cultivates devotional relationship. This is bhakti-yoga, the synthesis of all Dhyāna Yoga. Meditation is meditation on Kṛṣṇa; union is union with the Personal Divine.
