Yogin

Declined form of yogi. In classical texts it is used as a morphological variant of the same concept: the practitioner of yoga. In the Haṭha Pradīpikā, yogin appears frequently in direct instructions (“the yogin must…”).

The distinction between yogi and yogin is grammatical, not conceptual. Both refer to the practitioner committed to the discipline of yoga. See yogi.
