Tṛtīyopadeśaḥ (Mudrā) · Verse 42

खेचरीमुद्रया योगी चन्द्रं पश्यति निश्चितम् | ततोऽमृतं तु संगृह्य जीवेद्ब्रह्मपरायणः ||

khecarīmudrayā yogī candraṃ paśyati niścitam | tato'mṛtaṃ tu saṃgṛhya jīved brahmaparāyaṇaḥ ||

Verse similar to 3-38. The description of Khecarī in Gheraṇḍa uses liturgical repetition to emphasize crucial points.

The “moon” is the candra bindu at the crown. “Collecting the nectar” is the conscious practice of absorbing the essence descending from this center.

Living “dedicated to Brahman” is the natural result of sustained practice. The transformation occurs gradually, shaping the entire way of being.
