Saptamopadeśaḥ (Samādhi) · Verse 13
पञ्चभूतेषु देहेषु लीनं मनः सदा यतिः | लये लीनं मनः कृत्वा योगी योगपरायणः ||
pañcabhūteṣu deheṣu līnaṃ manaḥ sadā yatiḥ | laye līnaṃ manaḥ kṛtvā yogī yogaparāyaṇaḥ ||
Technique of Laya yoga: the mind dissolves successively in the five elements (mahābhūtas) that constitute the body, and then in the subtle bodies.
It is meditation of progressive dissolution: from gross to subtle, from subtle to causal, from causal to absolute. Each layer dissolves into the next.
“Mind absorbed in dissolution” — there is no fixed object; it is continuous dissolution, flowing toward the source.
