From him the Ṛg, Sāma, Yajur, initiation, sacrifice, ritual, animals, all beings, inhalation and exhalation, rice and barley, austerity, truth, vow, regulation, Vedas, sacrifice —from him, from him.
Repetition of the previous verse, intensifying the liturgy. The insistence is not redundancy but meditation: each repetition carries the mind more deeply into understanding that everything comes from Unity. In our yoga practice, this is manana —repeated contemplation that dissolves doubt. The prāṇa and apāna (inhalation and exhalation) are especially significant: the breath we experience is the same vital force that animates the entire universe. Everything is tasmāt —from Him, from Him.
