From him the Ṛg, Sāma, Yajur, initiation, sacrifice, ritual, animals, all beings, inhalation and exhalation, rice and barley, austerity, truth, vow, regulation, Vedas, sacrifice —from him, from him.

Third repetition of this cosmic list, completing a triple pattern. In our yoga practice, this triple repetition is like the three phases of breath: inhalation, retention, exhalation. Each repetition is an opportunity to let the mind immerse more deeply in understanding of primordial unity. The tapas (austerity) and satya (truth) included in the list are both human practices and divine emanations —there is no separation between what we do and what we are.
