वाचा विरोचमानं वदन्ति तं ब्रह्मणः परमं पुरुषं यद् विद्वांसः यत्किंचिद्वदन्त वाचा तस्मै नमः

vācā virocanānaṃ vadanti taṃ brahmaṇaḥ paramaṃ puruṣaṃ yad vidvāṃsaḥ yatkiñcidvadanta vācā tasmai namaḥ

With the revealing word they declare that Supreme Puruṣa of Brahman. The sages, knowing this, speak of anything with the word. To Him my reverence.

Vāc (speech/sacred word) has two functions: to reveal the supreme Puruṣa and, once He is known, to speak from that understanding. The vidvāṃsaḥ (sages) do not fall silent after realization; their words become expression of Truth. In our yoga practice, this teaches us that word sustained by experience is different from ordinary chatter. The final salutation “to Him my reverence” (tasmai namaḥ) closes this chapter with humility: after all description, Brahman remains beyond words, and only reverent silence can truly honor Him.
