Śūnya Dhāraṇā · Dhāraṇā 36

विश्वमेतन्महादेवि शून्यभूतं विचिन्तयेत् । तत्रैव च मनो लीनं ततस्तल्लयभाजनम् ॥

viśvam etan mahādevi śūnyabhūtaṃ vicintayet | tatraiva ca mano līnaṃ tatas tallayabhājanam ||

Oh Mahādevī, contemplate this universe as void. The mind dissolves there itself, and then becomes receptacle of that dissolution.

Thirty-sixth dhāraṇā. Viśvam etat śūnyabhūtam — this entire universe made of void. Not that the universe does not exist. That its essential nature is voidness. Forms appear in void, are made of void, return to void.

Tatraiva ca mano līnam — there itself the mind dissolves. When the mind contemplates universal void, it has nowhere to grasp. No object. No support. It dissolves like salt in water — not disappearing, but integrating.

Tallayabhājanam — receptacle of that dissolution. The mind does not die. It becomes the very space itself where all dissolves and all arises. It is the vessel of the thirty-third verse: walls disappear and only space remains. Here the space is the entire universe.
