Bhāva Dhāraṇā · Dhāraṇā 70

यत्र यत्र मनो याति बाह्ये वाभ्यन्तरेऽपि वा । तत्र तत्र शिवावस्था व्यापकत्वात्क्व यास्यति ॥

yatra yatra mano yāti bāhye vābhyantare 'pi vā | tatra tatra śivāvasthā vyāpakatvāt kva yāsyati ||

Wherever the mind goes, whether outside or inside, there itself is the state of Śiva. Being omnipresent, where could it go?

Seventieth technique. The most radical affirmation. Yatra yatra mano yāti — wherever the mind goes. Without restrictions. Without conditions. To any place, object, thought, emotion, memory, fantasy.

Tatra tatra śivāvasthā — there itself is the state of Śiva. There is no place where Śiva is not. There is no thought that is not Śiva thinking. There is no emotion that is not Śiva feeling. The mind cannot escape the divine because it is made of the divine.

Vyāpakatvāt kva yāsyati — being omnipresent, where could it go? The rhetorical question destroys all spiritual seeking. If you seek Śiva, you already found him. If you flee from him, you run within him. This dhāraṇā is liberating and terrifying simultaneously. There is no safe place for the ego.
