In whom the heaven, earth, and space between them are woven, together with the mind and all the prāṇas — to that one alone know as the Self. Abandon other words. This is the bridge to immortality.

The Self as woven totality, and the call to abandon discursive speech.

Dyauḥ pṛthivī… antarikṣaḥ — heaven, earth and space. The complete cosmic triad.

Otam — woven, interwoven. Not placed upon but integrated, as warp and weft.

Manaḥ… prāṇaiḥ — mind and prāṇas. The subtle together with the dense.

Tam evaikam — to that one alone. Without second, without other.

Jānātha ātmānam — know as the Self. The Ātman is that single Self.

Anyāḥ vācaḥ vimuñchatha — abandon other words. Be silent of the rest; only this matters.

Amṛtasya eṣa setuḥ — this is the bridge to immortality. The Ātman as passage to the immortal.

Meditation is this abandonment of speech toward silent unity.
